New Books You Would Like
I am going to write about two news books, both are very short, one I wrote myself.
For the past two years, I have worked at a library branch in the inner city, where I deal with lots of children, some of which have some really wonderful parents, others likely not so, OR they are latch-key kids, where one or both parents work and they have no one at home when they get there. Some of the children, probably, have some anger, or maybe lack good role models. In ways I can identify with them.
So, I thought it would be a good idea to write a book. I use my own experiences, scripture, and some other things, to help hopefully encourage, inspire & teach.
It is 28 pages, and only 1.29

The second is “Second Chances: New Beginning” from my friend Mr. James Bubba Rae Winfield, who is a well-respected citizen of the community. In it, he discusses how we can help children prosper, inspire them, and succeed in life, instead of turning to crime and drugs, including using some of his own experiences. This is available at Norfolk, Va Public Libraries.
