The art of selfless service
Seva means selfless service.
I consider it an art; a vital necessity in and for our world.
One cannot often ‘see’ seva as an art, as one does a painting; yet one can ‘feel’ seva as it is given and practiced. We can see Seva in media photographs, the care given to another soul in distress, often under extraordinary circumstances. We can feel and see seva’s results as it radiates from the faces of those both giving and receiving it.
It is the best gift that anyone can give to another on any calendar day, week, month or instantaneous moment.
It’s this Mothers main gift to others this year.
Although it’s less costly than say, a Mercedes, it’s priceless when practiced in pure form and action.
